I went two weekends in a row. First for dinner and then today for lunch. Mahi fish tacos are amazing and the conch fritters are top notch! The drinks are delicious and not watered down. It's so nice to sit on the beach and eat delicious food with a wonderfully attendant wait staff checking and making sure that everything is perfect
Lovely place, beautiful on the water. We had a great waitress and food was amazing. I had chicken salad which tasted awesome. The bar chips on top i could do without. My husband had Mahi tacos and onion rings that tasted great. The bar drinks were good. We will be back.
Awesome old style restaurant and resort. Right on the beach. I had the crazy coconut shrimp with fries. It was sooo good. Parking is a bit of a pain and I was there in mid February.
On the main Drag of Vero is Ocean Ave, here youll find good breakfast lunch and dinner dining. Behind the historic Driftwood Resort, you have Waldos Restaurant. The Driftwood is a beautifully rustic resort. Some say its even haunted (an awesome reason to book 1 or multiple rooms). As soon as you you walk, its like going into an old port after you've been at sea for weeks. You are seated either outside or in (You're choice), the outside has a pool,beach access, 2 bars, lounge chairs etc. We heard a great local country/western band last night. As youll see the pics and video I post of all they offer. The service staff are wonderful, very attentive and have knowledge of the over 100 year old history. They have anything for everyone. Try their Cordon Bleu sandwich, its incredible. Please look at my pics and videos and have many a stay. Tell them large Marge sent ya. Trust me, youll love it and want to come back especially for your souvenir cups.
Weekend girls trip we stopped at Waldo‘s to check it out absolutely loved. We sat at the outdoor bar had some Bloody Marys and appetizers. The calamari was amazing bartender Ryan was great. Will return!

Perfect for chillin around , overviewing the ocean with my husband except for today is kinda breezy and cold (45 degrees) 😊 But my New England style of fish and chips is super nice , fresh and not greasy . We also have the baby back ribs . The split peas soup taste delicious. The staff are attentive and considerate . ‘Had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant .
Wonderful Vero Beach! Sit inside or by the pool and Atlantic Ocean! Authentic ocean-side ambiance. Get hungry for the best burger or fish sandwich imaginable and enjoy. Built from massive shipwreck timbers and eclectic wrought iron and ornamental items by eccentric Waldo Sexton in the 1930's and 40's, this is an oceanfront wonderland experience in itself.
Great oceanfront restaurant with an old west feel. We were lucky enough to get a table right next to the beach. Ordered the “sampler” appetizer and 6 beers for the 3 of us…. The conch fritters and Shrimp were great but then we were left with deep fried mozzarella filets which no one wanted. Order the Coconut Shimp and the Conch Fritters- skip the “combo” Great place - good service and always busy.
